FARE HIKES ANNOUNCED AGAIN!!!! Fuck PAP again. THAT DOES IT!

I wanted to post on Facebook:

"Boy I can't wait until:
A) PAP is no longer the majority while the Opposition leads the parliament
or
B) I have the money (which I don't right now) to get away from this hell god forsaken rock.

Boy I really want to drag some of the words back in made by SMRT after they last raise the fares: No more raises for a considerable period. Seriously, this one really takes the cake. Screw em', really screw em'. Enough's enough! No more empty promises. Victory at the GE2011 to PAP is matter-of-fact, undeserved."

Which is indeed hell true as myself who supports the opposition but couldn't vote last year. This one comes after the Illegal strike saga. In the end, to cut the bloody long story short, EVERYBODY KENA SCREWED LAH!

I want to bring back some points that were explicitly made public by the SBS/SMRT/ all the bloody transport ruddy companies. Because after the last major fare hike, they say:

No more additional hikes for a considerable period. Hell, we only got fare raised earlier this year and now you want to fucking raise it yet again?! What is this?! You made COEs fucking soar so high that even the COEs themselves are more than double the price of a car! A SALOON DAMMIT! JUST A FREAKING SALOON MAN! Raise ERP and all that shit.... Boy, I really just can't think whatever else because the list is FREAKING ENDLESS! But here's the entire chart of what really REALLY pissed me off as of late.

- Raising Transport Fares way too frequently although it's announced that no more fares for considerable period.
- Brought in too much foreign talent. (It's a vast majority of the stupid ones, as for the smart ones, I'd no issues whatsoever).
- Providing more Job and Education opportunities for foreigners than locals. WHAT IS THIS NOTION?!
- The Longest Compulsory National Service Period and over such a meager 'pocket money', it's not worth wasting 2 precious years of my time.
- The Wage gap between the rich, the mainstream and the poor is just too freaking ridiculous!

But did it solve the prob? Evidently not.
Because you're making us all much more unhappy. PAY AND PAY INDEED. Seriously I have had enough for all this. I would have jolly well not vote for them, No way Jose. Seriously, victory doesn't deserve to go to you, PAPpies. Your methods simply will not work here. Do what WE, the people say, and yes, maybe you will get a bit of sympathy. But this has gone out of hand.

Just you wait, GE2016.

I, Grandmaster Paul Anthony will not rest until the general problems have been addressed and implemented, my way.

Signing out. God, am I really so angry.

Computer Upgrades has finally been Completed and a New Phone!

Hey there!

It's been a while and it's time for some updates!

1. Computer Overhauls has been Completed

Okay, spent a bit of time doing some upgrades to my computer and it's finally finished on 1st October 2012 after ironing some kinks out. Took me quite abit of time. But here is the final configuration and the fonts in Red are the changes since I bought the System.

Intel Core i5 2500K Overclocked to 4.3GHz
ASUS P8P67 PRO Motherboard.
Intel Stock Cooler --> CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus Dual Fan.
8GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance 1600 MHz RAM --> 16GB DDR3 RAM
1GB GDDR5 nVidia GTX 550 Ti MSI Cyclone II --> 2x2GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon 6970 (Sapphire / Gigabyte)
600W Enermax NAXN 80+ Certified --> Corsair HX1000 1KW PSU 80+ Certified

ThermalTake SpaceCraft VF-I
DVD Burner
Added 2 more Fans (Enermax USB Vegas 120mm Fan, ThermalRight 140mm X-Silent Fan)
So basically, I've expanded most of the space. But there'll be a time later when I'll need to cramp in a Wireless Network card when My Dad upgrades our Internet to Fiber Optics.

The biggest overhaul was to have enough power to drive 2 high end 6970s and enough cooling to keep my system running not as hot to cause CPU Throttling. The problem is after connecting the 2nd fan at the fan header next to the CPU fan header on the motherboard, the Computer just switches off and wouldn't boot. So went without 1 fan for a bit. But even so, the difference after swapping out the cooler is instantaneous. I'm getting like 30 degrees C Cooler in load. And Temperatures hover between 39-41 Degrees Celsius on Idle compared to 50-60 on a stock cooler. Running Borderlands 2, I get a couple degrees short of 60 compared to an abnormal 85-95 degrees even though Borderlands 2 is not an intensive program and also at least my Comp won't restart with an Over Temperature error anymore.

Having said that, I did route the cable of my 2nd fan to another fan header and it worked, so now I can get Push/Pull for the Cooler. I still have one more header space for another fan so I fitted a 140mm Fan facing the Radeons. By the way, it doesn't have native support for a 140mm, only a 120mm, so I jury rigged some double sided tape and Velcro pads for me to paste the fan to the 120mm fan mount which works.

2. Samsunng Galaxy S3!

No more old Nokia, say hello to Samsung Galaxy S3! This Smart phone has been in used to supersede all my stuff I got here; Phone, Camera, Recorder; and it has been doing Okay. The S3 has been used quite a bit as of late to record all my AMD 6970 Benchmarks.

Here is my Unboxing:

More Subscribers and Viewers on YouTube Channel....or I'm Bust.

Hey there.

Okay, It's time for a serious update in my YouTube Channel. I'm sharing this on both on Facebook and later as a YouTube Video maybe.

Okay, abit about me is that yes, I like gaming, I like doing commentaries after being inspired to start doing gameplay footage by the likes of DarkKefka, TotalHalibut, HuskyStarCraft...etc.

For them their channels got extremely successful with a large Viewership. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for mine, and now I am in a fix. I don't like to spend time and money to make videos and play new games and pretty much nobody actually view them. And I spent LOADS of it, incredibly loads of it.

My Rig alone is valued at 2K.... With my Hard Earned Money.
My games alone is close to 4-fig-sum..... With my Hard Earned Money.

The time part is a also a bloody HUGE factor. You see it takes 4 hours to upload a 1.2 GB Video which is a filthy long time. My Upload plan is just a measly 1 Mbps which utterly sucks. I constantly have to shrink down the quality of the videos to reduce the time needed to upload but adversely affecting quality. Nowadays Long videos I tend to upload at 480p at best. Super Short videos, Sure! I can do 720p or 1080p. But with the length of the videos it's just not possible to do it stably.

I want to make things a lot more worth my time and money spent if tonnes more people actually view through my channel. My subscriber base is fluctuating between 78 - 80 subscribers. Hell I gotta get more subscribers than that.

This is when you viewers and Facebookers come in. And I sincerely need your help. It's either I get more view base or my Channel is simply..... Busted for good....I will close it, deeming it Totally not worth to spend my time and money anymore and just go back to gaming illegit versions of games.

It's do or die now, ladies and gentlemen. Please lend me your support.
Please visit my Channel:

ORD loh! Back to some hard gaming.

Finally written a chapter in my book!
I Finally ORD loh from SAF Band!

Now back to some hard gaming. So as of late, I've been rotating between BattleField 3, Diablo III, Modern Warfare 3, Dungeon Defenders and recently just come back for a bit in StarCraft II as well. So just an update on my Current Desktop and Laptop Rigs.

Desktop Rig with New Stuff.
Which includes:
A New Steel Series QcK MousePad
An Upgraded Graphics Card to a 6970

What is still in my Inventory that I should install but I need a help of an able PC builder like Darryl:
Gigabyte 6970 for Crossfire
CoolerMaster Hyper212 Evo
Corsair HX1000

So some updates on my Laptop:
A DIY Cooler (below)
Enermax Vegas USB 120mm RED LED Fan
I still do abit of tweaking here and there with the Radeon HD 5470 but it's not stable enough.

I swear I'm gonna need a new laptop like an Aftershock X11/X15. This laptop graphics still cannot make it. I'll be more than happy to accept something like the X11 or the other Clevo W110ER Bare bone Laptop with a nVidia GT 650 DDR3.

So abit about my DIY Cooler installed by Dad.
It's not a USB Cooler. It's 2 full 230V 135mm Fans installed into a DIY Platform. The top is 8mm Ballistics Acrylic with Silver Tape Borders to reduce sharp edges. The cooler is wired and meant to be plugged straight to a wall socket for max power. The fans were from downstairs to cool the Home Entertainment system. But I had to solve a certain heat problem from my Laptop, hence this and the 120mm Enermax Vegas Fan.

Abit about the cooler is in the video:

So ya, this is all what I got for now. Gonna solid enjoy for the next 2+ months now.

Solving a HOT HOT Laptop Problem.

Having a laptop next to you can get pretty toasty over prolonged usage. That's normally a common issue. And for mine, it's a big big problem. Every time a laptop gets too hot, it'll automatically force my system shutdown, and have to let it cool down for a bit before restarting the system again.

Now as you know I extensively use my laptop for Facebook and YouTube if my bro's using my rig outside my room. Games are done there. However not to disturb my parents in the wee hours of the morning, I game with it. Problem is that system heats up alot during gaming. Even the free laptop cooler that came with it just barely able to hold it.

So currently my setup is like that and with another fan next to me for cooling when I use my laptop on the bed.

The big limitation of the cooler is that the USB Connection is powered up to only 9 volts, and isn't  really optimized like that for cooling, not at that stage. So Dad stepped into the challenge and we're actually going to DIY our own Laptop Cooling table that will draw Full power off the wall.

Fortunately, my old 2005 now-dead rig is still lying around in front of my new rig, where the old one used to be. So we're gonna salvage the 450W power supply which from the outside still looks new. We'll rip out 2 case fans at the back of the chassis. We are gonna add more fans to that and we're gonna make a flat meshed platform that's going to be the mount for my laptop. We are targeting to whack 6 fans (we're gonna add more) Underneath the surface will be the fans and we'll use the power supply to draw power from the 12 volt rails.

As soon as we're done we're gonna test this bad boy and compare the difference.

DIABLO III: 15th-May-2012

Heya Tech Junkies out there, as many gamers may be aware, that Diablo III will be released on 15th May 2012. So, I'm heading down to Qisahn early in the morning to get in line for the queue so hope to see many of you guys there. In particular, SC2SEA and / or past and present SAF Band members who bought the game.

Now concerning how this game will be benchmarked by me, I aim to use the following rigs that my family have around the house:

My Laptop Rig:
(Low End Testing)
Core i7-740QM 1.73 GHz, Turbo 2.93GHz
8GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM
1GB GDDR3 ATI Mobility Radeon 5470
DVD / RW Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium

There'll be 2 tests on this Setup. The first will be testing with the GPU at default 750MHz in Core / Memory Clocks and will be overclocked to 800 / 850 to see what sort of improvement I can get.

Dad's Laptop / Older Bro's Laptop Rigs (Same Spec)
(Mid End Testing)
Core i7 2620QM Sandy Bridge
8GB DDR3 RAM
2GB GDDR3 nVidia GeForce GT 540M
DVD / RW Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium

My Own Rig
(High End Testing)
Core i5 2500K OC to 4.5GHz Sandy Bridge
Asus P8P67 PRO Mobo
16 GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM (4x4GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance)
2GB GDDR5 Sapphire Radeon 6970
DVD RW Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium

Overhauled Rig (TBC)
(Enthusiast Testing)
Specs Same save:
2 x 2GB GDDR5 Radeon 6970

All benchmarks will be done with FRAPS. This will probably give a good gauge how CPU or GPU heavy does the game require. But I still need a Radeon 6970 from somewhere, but it's out of production and needs to be gotten second hand. I know there are some reviews but nobody has benchmarked laptop Diablo 3 Gameplay yet.

It's PC Upgrading Time!

Okay, Prior to my ORD, I plan to gear my Super Gaming Rig that cost about 1200 when I bought to something that's what I really can call worthy of a Gaming Machine. My plan is to have it fully upgraded and ready by the time I ORD while trying to conserve as much money as possible.

As it stands now, here is the specs of my Current Rig.

Core I5 2500K, Overclocked to 4.5 GHz
ASUS P8P67 PRO Motherboard
8GB Corsair Vengeance PC12800 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon 6970 Sapphire Dual Fan/BIOS (After Upgrade) from GTX 550 TI
Enermax ENP AWT 600W PSU 80+ BRONZE Power Supply Unit
ThermalTake SpaceCraft VF-I Mid Tower Chassis.

Here are the following parts which I am changing or adding Plus the extra cost incurred.

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) Kit PC 12800 1600MHz DDR3 RAM

The motherboard I'm using can go beyond 16. Sure, the newer Z77 Motherboards can take in even more. But sad to say, the limitation of the OS will cap my max RAM at 16 and I'll have to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate to further increase my RAM Cap. I got the RAM modules on Sunday for 70 dollars.

CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Cooler (Latest Gen) OR Corsair Hydro Series - PRIMARY PRIORITY

This upgrade is to address the heat issues in my CPU. Because, currently I'm using the stock Intel Cooler fan that came with the Core i5 2500K. Ain't pretty but still it wasn't the end of the world yet. However come testing on the Torture tests on Prime 95, The CPU went so hot that can literally boil egg le. I'm debating whether I should go with the Corsair H60 or H70 if I should go for water cooling. Because the H60 comes with a fan abit more expensive that the H70 (which I can install together to the cooler with the Current 120mm Exhaust fan), but the H70, cheaper but needs you to pick your 2 fans :/

Well at the end of the day, I managed to get the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus Cooler from VR-Zone. The Dealer also threw in another fan for Push Pull. I have also bought a 140mm ThermalTake Fan from him. Total cost: 50 SGD.

Power Supply Unit with at least 850W: Corsair HX-1000 80+ Certified Modular Power Supply.

It is highly probable that I'm going to go CrossFire for this system and the Enermax 600Watts can't handle it. So yea.... and even when I am going single card, I still need headroom if I go for alot of other parts. So what I did settle eventually on a Corsair HX-1000 1 Kilowatt (1000W) Power Supply which is 80+ Certified. I got it from a fellow VR-Zone user who lives just a few minutes walk away from Nee Soon Camp.

This power supply is near full modular save just the primary 24-pin cable and a couple others which are needed Anyway. It still has 3 years of Warranty. What would have cost nearly 400 bucks on the market? Only costed me 110 SGD. Overkill? Probably. But cost wise? Hell worth it.

AMD 6970 ANY BRAND OR MODEL ** Secondary Priority

I Upgraded my Graphics Card from my MSI Cyclone II NVidia GTX 550 TI to Sapphire's Version of the AMD Radeon 6970 with Dual Fan and BIOS earlier in March for that already freaking considerable boost to the card. Offers me more performance than what SLIed GTX 550 TIs offers. However if you have a High End Graphics Card, might as well go for 2.

It is going to be very hard to find this card in most hardware shops even in Sim Lim Square because this card is no longer in production in favor of the 7000 Series Graphics Card. If I were to have any hope of finding one for CrossFire, It'll have to be bought Second Hand from HardwareZone or VR-Zone and prices for most graphics cards of the 6000 series would have hit rock bottom prices anyway. For now, I already spent 420 on the Sapphire Dual Fan Card which was a good price compared to the actual retail pricing.

If you guys have any Radeon 6970s to sell for around 300 SGD (and even able to ship to Singapore) please PM me at Either pschopin18@hotmail.com or udeepex@gmail.com
